I started this site many years ago when I was writing the food and garden columns for The Chestertown Spy, some of which I’ve included in the pieces that have been posted.I’ve been a garden, travel, food, environmental writer for many years, and my work has appeared in a variety of regional and national magazines and newspapers. Trying to knit up the disparate pieces of a life, which is naturally connected to other lives and communities, and to cross-pollinate the digital pieces off that life and those experiences so we’re not perpetually re-inventing the wheel so to speak, is a challenge, but an interesting one. There is so much to learn, do, rejoice in, and share in the world. Onward.
